This is my little family. I have done a lot of things in my life, but having a family is not only the best thing I have done, but the most rewarding as well. And I'm not just saying that because the wife reads the Web site.

Julia and I met in college when we were freshmen at WPI. We both lived on the same floor and were close friends. She left WPI in the middle of her sophomore year (she was at an engineering school and wanted to be an art major... smart move to leave). We stayed in touch and when we were in our friends Brian and Lauren Kuzara's wedding party (see below), something sparked and we fell in love. I asked her to marry me two days later (but we waited a year and a half... we're not THAT impulsive).

After a couple of years of being married we had our son Alec. It's hard to describe how someone so unexpected and missing from your life can make it so full and complete. Lots of people told me about this, but of course I didn't understand or believe what they were saying. Maybe it's my turn to not be understood. I put together a little site for Alec to update our family on his happenings and progress. It's been a lot of fun to work on.

As what happens to other folks who have kids, we forgot about swelling feet, nausea, and general crankiness that goes along with pregnancy (and I am sure Julia had some symptoms as well) and decided to have another child. After our daughter Jasmine was born we discovered that two kids are not twice the work... it is an exponential factor more! But, sappy as it may sound, it is all worth it. Of course I have also put up a site for Jasmine as well. We'll see if I can keep up with two kids' sites at the same time.
